Work Scholars and Volunteers work hard, play hard and make the administration of the festival seem easy. In exchange for a mutually agreed upon level of work, they receive significant discounts on their registration fees. The Work Scholar program does not cover the cost of transportation, lodging, meals, or incidentals. Volunteers (often motivated by a desire to give back, to network, to meet new people, etc.) receive reciprocal value through recognition and unexpected tokens of appreciation from DCFF.
