John Whaite is a dancer, dance teacher, choreographer, and general helper at dancing. He is based in Perth, Western Australia. With over 40 years experience, John's focus has been Balkan and International dance. Howeve, he has also taught boot scootin', Cajun, and more recently French Bal.

John has taught at the Australian National Folk Fesitval, various Western Australian festivals and events, and has taught informally when abroad. He is currently Chairperson and a teacher at Perth International Dance, and teacher at Le Grand Bal de Chidlow.
