Linda Blohowiak was introduced to folk dancing at Folklore Village when it was an old schoolhouse.

She is a member of the International Folk Dancers of the Fox Valley in Appleton, WI and has been folk dancing on a regular basis since 1986. She enjoys attending folk dance workshops and festivals around the Midwest and often brings back dances to teach to her home group. She has taught dances at SNOPA and the Door County Folk Festival.

In addition to folk dancing, Linda is one of the organizers of the Shawano Folk Music Festival and has been instrumental in introducing dancing as a regular part of the festival. She and her husband recently restored a 110-year-old barn on her property to use for barn dances and barn concerts. She got in the barn on July 20, 2024.
