Linda Blohowiak was introduced to folk dancing at Folklore Village when it was an old schoolhouse.

She is a member of the International Folk Dancers of the Fox Valley in Appleton, WI and has been folk dancing on a regular basis since September of 1986. She enjoys attending folk dance workshops and festivals around the Midwest and bringing dances back to her home group. She has been a teacher at SNOPA and the Door County Folk Festival.

As one of the organizers of the Shawano Folk Music Festival she has been instrumental in introducing dance performance and participation as a part of that festival. Her latest project is restoring a 110-year-old barn on her property to use for barn dances and house concerts. She will be getting married in the barn on July 20, 2024.
