Adony Beniares has been dancing since 2005, and is a dance generalist, enjoying all genres and folk dance types, with a current fondness for Israeli, Scottish, and English. He is frequent participant, leader, and teacher among many Peninsula folk dance groups.

During non-Covid times, Adony and his wife Becky danced 2-3 times a week and attended a party or two per month in the Bay Area. During Covid times, Adony can be found online at many camps and classes.

In dance related activities, Becky and Adony are responsible for the ~2000 dance images groups use in displaying dances across the Bay.

Adony is a member of the Stockton Folk Dance Camp board and manages the online Stockton Folk Dance Festivals, coordinates the online Global Folk Dance parties and helps out regularly at many other online festivals.
